The Planewave 17” CDK is our latest deployment to the Chilean desert along with the TOA-150.  The PW17 offers long focal length imagers a rare opportunity to explore the southern skies at ~2,940mm focal length.  The CDK design produces a flat field edge-to-edge on its large 16803 CCD. The integration of all the major components results in a reliable, high-performance long focal length system.   Because of these benefits, Deep Sky West has another PW17 system in New Mexico.
