The AP-175 is one of the finest refractors around. We are lucky to have one of these rare instruments on-hand. Astro-Physics is known for long waiting times and 10 years or more would be needed to acquire a 175 if you’re lucky. While the 175 is known for its superiority as a visual instrument, we’ve deployed it as an imaging system. As expected, the 175 is capable of outstanding images with pinpoint stars and near perfect color-correction. Discerning refractor imagers will find this to be an outstanding choice.
